Boardwalk Construction

The design and construction of more than two kilometers of boardwalks which surround the marina at Martha Cove, Mount Martha.

Civil One has extensive experience in building boardwalks at marinas, waterfront developments and through wetlands and other environmentally sensitive areas.

Since early in 2006, Civil One has built more than 2 kilometers of quality boardwalks around the marina at Martha Cove, a prestige canal development at Mount Martha. The company has now started on stage three of the boardwalk development.

The boardwalks surrounding the marina at Martha Cove are quickly becoming a focal point as new residents and visitors alike take a leisurely stroll to admire the outstanding views.   

Civil One has added a distinctive look to more than two kilometers of the boardwalks with handrails fabricated from stainless steel. The company has used a post and handrail system utilizing durable hardwood uprights with stainless steel handrails and capping over the end grain of the uprights.

The finishing touches include shadow lines on all uprights just below the capping with three strands of 6mm stainless steel balustrade wire running through the uprights for added safety and visual appeal.
